Joy, Leatrice (1893-1985) Silent screen actress whose rise to stardom was overseen by Cecil B. deMille; she appeared in several of his movies, including The Ten Commandments (1923). She was married to John Gilbert (1922-24) and had a daughter with him. Edwin Bower Hesser original vintage 14"x11" photograph with Hesser's embossed blind stamp, as well as his backstamp. Some scattered edge blemishes; light "sunning" to part of right side.
