Dawson, Doris (1909 - ?) Star of low-budget silent comedies. She won the 1929 WAMPAS Baby Star award for her role opposite Harry Langdon in Heart Trouble (1928); she retired after Silver Streak (1934). Two Edwin Bower Hesser original vintage photographs, 13¼"x10¼" and 14"x11". The first is signed in green ink by Hesser at lower left. Miss Dawson holds a finger to her lips; there is a white dot on her brow and a small white scratch on her back. The larger photo, with Hesser's backstamp, is fine except for a couple of minor edge and background blemishes.
