Carol, Sue (1907-1982) Silent screen actress; agent and wife of Alan Ladd. Two Edwin Bower Hesser original vintage photographs, both 16¼"x13¼". No photographer's stamp. One is a demure picture of Miss Carol in a white dress with a scarf around her shoulders; the other is a sultry photo, probably in costume for the 1927 film Slaves of Beauty. Both have some edge silvering and background blemishes. The second photo has an old note with retouching instructions, attached by a rusty paper clip.
