Bogart, Humphrey - Personal Necktie and Bow tie. Two items: A beige necktie with purple floral design, with "Smoothie / Imperial" tag, and a multi-colored, striped bow tie. Both of these items show signs of wear and were obtained from the belongings of Verita Peterson Thompson, Bogie's long-time hairdresser and toupee maker. She claimed that she had a long-term affair with Bogie, from 1942-1951, and she wrote a book, Bogie and Me, about their relationship. With a certificate of authenticity for each item from Richard Wilson of Norma's Jeans.
