Original Patent Model for Early Beer Cooler. United States, c. 1879. Patent issued to F. Heller, of Newark, New Jersey, on Dec. 9, 1879, for this radiator-like contraption for refrigerating beer. Device comprised of four steel pipes held by footed frame, with brass connectors and couplings. Accompanied by original patent tags, with printed diagram of the interior plumbing within the pipes. Black painting to steel mostly gone, but overall in very fine condition. Size: 4" x 11". Apparently America's love for a good, cold brewski goes back further than we thought! Rare!!
