Romanova, Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna (1882-1960) Youngest child of Tsar Alexander III and sister of ill-fated Tsar Nicholas II. Three Autograph Notes Signed to her mother, the former queen (Nicholas became tsar in 1894 and ruled until his abdication in 1917; he and his family were executed in 1918). All three notes are in English; one is dated 1900, one 1910, and one is undated. All are pre-Russian Revolution and all concern Olga's and her mother's health. Matted with an envelope, an image of Olga, a piece of Russian money, and a couple of decorative items. Nicely framed to 24"x30". Fine condition. Olga, her second husband (Colonel Nicholas Kulikovsky) and their children lived in exile in Denmark and Canada after the Revolution. Olga was a renowned artist.
