Spinner, Francis (1802-1890) Appointed Secretary of the Treasury by President Lincoln in March 1861; he served in that position until July 1875. Four Checks Signed "F.E. Spinner," three with "Jr." and one without, drawn on the First National Bank of Florida between 1883 and 1890, the year of his death, and paid to various parties. Very good; some edge staining and minor soiling. Spinner's beautiful, inimitable signature is a little shaky due to old age.
Estimated Value $200 - 300.

Realized $127
