1902, $5 National Bank Note. Fr-587. The notes bearing the red seal were issued from 1908 to 1908, and like the brown backs would no doubt have continued until 1922 were it not for the changes made as a result of the Aldrich-Vreeland Act of 1908 which laid the groundwork for the Federal Reserve Banking system introduced in 1913. PCGS graded Very Good 08.
