Roman Empire. Large lot of Mostly Late Empire AE's. Good, interesting starter lot for the new or young collector. A number of quite nice, attractive coins included. Some Scarce. The varied denominations (both large and small), with a number of bust types, include such rulers as: Trajan; Severus Alexander; Philip I; Gallienus; Carus (silvered); Diocletian; Maximianus; Galerius (one silvered); Maximinus II; Severus II; Licinius I (one silvered) & Licinius II; Fausta; Crispus; Gratian; Valens; and Theodosius I. In addition, a bronze or fourré denarius of Septimius Severus, with Fortuna reverse (Sear1677). Close inspection required, as surfaces, metal, and patinas can vary widely. Lot of 28 coins. Coins range from About Good to Choice Very Fine.
