Roman Empire. Lot of 7 AR Denarii, c. 69-199 AD. Includes: Nerva, Libertas; Trajan, Fortuna; Antoninus Pius, Salus; Septimius Severus, in curule chair (perhaps a hybrid, cf. RIC 173); young Caracalla, naked Caracalla with globe; and Severus Alexander, Virtus right. Also an interesting fourré denarius of Julia Domna, Hilaritas type (RIC 556). Close inspection suggested, as surfaces, metal, and patinas vary. Lot of 7 coins. Coins range from Very Good to Very Fine.
