Ancient Greece & Rome. Lot of 3 Silver Coins. Pleasing material. Good lot. Included are: Ptolemy II, Tetradrachm: Diademed head / Eagle left, club and TYP monogram (SGC 7774 var.). Antiochos IX, Drachm (Tarsos mint): Diademed head / Sandan standing on back of horned lion-griffin (SNG Spaer 2724). Republican Rome, Denarius, L. Caesius: Vejovis with fulmen / Two Lares Praestities (RSC Caesia 1). Plus: Constantius II, Caesar, Silvered AE 3/4 (Sear 3986); and Maxentius, Follis: Emperor in temple (RIC 113). Close inspection suggested, as surfaces, metal, and patinas vary - Republican coin with obverse graffiti. Lot of 5 coins. Coins range from Very Fine to Extremely Fine.
