Ancient Greece. Lot of Greek and Greek Imperial Bronzes, c. 350 BC. Some nice material, mostly from CNG electronic auctions. Syracusan Tetrantes, with female head left (Cf. SNG ANS Syracuse 417) and similar from Himera (SGC 1110). Philip II, Macedon, AE 18: Apollo head / Youth on horseback. Bizya, Thrace, 2nd cent. AD.: Hermes head right / Caduceus. Claudius, AE 20 of Cadi, Phrygia: Zeus of Laodikeus (SGIC 456). Nero, AE 20 of Sagalassus, Pisidia: Athena bust right (SGIC 609). Proconsul C. Papirius Carbo, 62-59 BC., AE 22 of Nicaia, Bithynia: Apollo head right / Roma seated left (SNG von Aulock 531). Close inspection suggested, as surfaces, metal, and patinas vary. Lot of 7 coins. Coins range from Very Fine to Extremely Fine.
