Roman Empire. Theodosius II, 402-450 AD. Gold Solidus, Constantinople mint, struck 420-422 AD. Diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust, three-quarters facing, with spear and shield. Reverse: Victory standing left, holding jeweled long cross. T. 46; Fr-14. Sharply struck, very lustrous. ICG graded AU-55.
