Roman Empire. Honorius, 393-423 AD. Gold Solidus (4.48 g), Milan mint, struck c. 395-402 AD. Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right. Reverse: Honorius right, holding standard and Victory, left foot on captive; M - D in field. RIC 1206a. Obverse a little softly struck from a die beginning to show some wear; the reverse fresh and crisp. Clean fields, and very lustrous. About Extremely Fine.
