Roman Empire. Septimius Severus, 193-211 AD. Lot of 2 AR Denarii, Rome mint. Both with laureate head right. Earliest, 199 AD., with Victory alighting before shield (RIC 144b). Other, c. 201 AD., with togate Severus as the "founder of peace" (RIC 265). Both sharp and attractive. Inspection suggested. Lot of 2 coins. ICG graded AU-55, and EF-45.
