Roman Empire. Vitellius, 69 AD. AR Denarius struck at Rome. Bare head right of Vitellius. Reverse: Concordia seated left, holding patera and cornucopiae. RIC 66 [as Scarce]; BMC 1. Obverse old scratch at ear, and a couple light scratches in exergue on reverse, nevertheless, a bold portrait; deeply toned. Choice Very Fine.
