Roman Empire. Augustus, 27 BC-14 AD. Lot of Four AR Denarii. All with Caius and Lucius Caesar, togate and holding shields reverse; Lugdunum mint, 2 BC - 14 AD. RIC 207. Each coin is mounted in an attractive wallet-like display entitled "The Biblical Silver Coins of Augustus Caesar." All on good metal, but viewing is suggested, since striking, centering, and toning varies from coin to coin. Lot of 4 coins. Coins average Very Fine.
