Sasanian Kingdom. Assorted Lot of 5 AR Drachms. Nice group. From different sources in the 1950's, including Le Jeune and Stacks. All with: Draped & bearded bust right / Fire altar. All generally well struck on good metal. Inspection suggested, as pieces have a variety of tones and surfaces. Included are: Ardashir with "Investiture Crown;" two of Shapur I; Hormizd II; and Ardashir III. Plus a Mint State AR Dirham, Umayyad, listed as Hisham, but maybe Marwan II instead. Lot of 6 coins. Coins range from Fine to Choice Very Fine.
