Parthian Kingdom. Mithradates II, 122-91 BC. AR Tetradrachm (15.68 g), Seleucia-on-Tigris mint, struck c. 119-109 BC. Diademed and draped bust left. Reverse: Arsakes I seated on omphalos right, holding up bow, all within square formed by legend; palm at far right. Cf. Sellwood 24.3; cf. Shore 66. Obverse die beginning to show wear -- thus a little softness to the portrait, even thought the details are full. The reverse crisp and fresh. Light toning over abundant, lovely luster. Nearly Extremely Fine.
Estimated Value $750 - 950.
