Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III, the Great, 336-323 BC. Lot of Two AR Tetradrachms, from Messembria, Thrace, and Myrina, Aeolis. Each of usual type. Reverse: Zeus enthroned left: Mesembria, 175-125 BC., with helmet at knee, ΔA below; monogram beneath throne (Price 1043); and Myrina (scarcer), 188-170 BC., with MYPI at left, kantharos and omphalos below (Price 1664). Both well struck, on fine metal, with medium toning. Lot of 2 coins. First Very Fine; other, Choice Very Fine.
