Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III, the Great, 336-323 BC. Lot of Two AR Tetradrachms, from Macedon and Aspendos. Each of usual type. Earliest from "Amphipolis," an early lifetime issue (Price 4; Muller 503; SNG Cop. 658); Aspendos, dated Year 8 = 205/204 BC. (Price 2888; Muller 1202). First, full devices on ample flan. Aspendos, obverse a trifle soft, with minor flatness on reverse. Both lightly toned. Lot of 2 coins. First Very Fine; other, Choice Very Fine.
