1914, $100 Federal Reserve Note. Fr-1099. Small edge tear. This is one of a nice run of the attractive 1914 series of $100 Federal Reserve Notes. In those days, a year after the government authorized the Federal Reserve system of banking, notes issued by the authority were payable in gold coin on demand. They no longer are. PCGS graded Apparent Very Fine 35.
