Lot 3338

Great Britain. Crown, 1658. S.3226; ESC-10. Oliver Cromwell. A nice, well struck example with a pretty lilac-green tone. This example is especially rare because there is only the slightest evidence of the die crack (break) which plagues most of the Cromwell Crowns seen today. This was presumably an early striking. NGC graded AU-58.
Estimated Value $6,500 - 7,500.

Realized $7,188
