1908, $10 Silver Certificate. Fr-302. An attractive specimen. Portrrait of Thomas Hendricks, Vice President of the United States for nine months, he died on November 25, 1865 in Indianapolis, where he spent most of his academic and political life. This portrait was engraved by Charles Schlecht. Due to the shape of the portrait frame, this bill is often called the "tombstone note." PCGS graded Fine 15.
