1899, $5 Silver Certificate. Fr-277. The Indian chief $5 bills have blue seal with blue serial numbers -- which the government standardized for the silver certificates. This color scheme continued when the small size notes were introduced in 1933-34 of this type of paper money backed by silver coins. PCGS graded Very Good 10.
