Great Britain. Angel, ND. S.2265. Henry VIII, 1509-1547. First coinage. St. Michael standing slaying the dragon. Reverse: Ship bearing shield and cross, h and rose at sides. Mint mark portcullis. A most handsome piece, unusually evenly struck, with much original luster. Many pieces are creased or scuffed, but this piece is as fresh as the day it was struck. NGC graded MS-63.
