Lot 2502

1874-CC $10 Liberty. PCGS graded VF-30. A pleasing example of this rare issue with remarkably clean surfaces and rims throughout. As typical for virtually all authentic pieces of this issue, a slightly weak strike. A total of 16,767 were struck. "Prohibitively rare above VF," notes Walter Breen and this coin with its remarkably clean surfaces, certainly ranks among the better survivors (PCGS # 8670) .
Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,250.

Realized $1,265
