1899, $2 Silver Certificate. Fr-251. Thirty years ago when crisp New examples of this $2 type were available for around $75, they were considered very scarce. Today, after tens of thousands of new collectors entering the market, they are just as scarce and prices have risen accordingly to where even a nice Fine 12 note like this has an active collector base. PCGS graded Fine 12.
