Lot 1100

1882, $20 National Bank Note. Fr-497. This time the brown charter number is off to the left of center above Series 1882. On some other Types, the charter number is situated left of center. It makes collecting these all the more exciting. With amere 6 large size known on the #3950 bank, all brown backs, a very scarce offering. In fact, this is an ever scarcer early type with the seal above the bank name rather than below (its later, much more common placement on brown back nationals of the 1882 series). PCGS graded Very Good 10.
Estimated Value $800 - 1,200.

Realized $776
