1902, $5 National Bank Note. Fr-609. Somewhat improper cutting with a portion of the note above visible and into the lower margin -- these national bank notes were shipped from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing as uncut sheets to the various issuing banks. It was the bank personnel who cut the sheets into notes, sometimes with this result! This Lebanon bank has fewer than two dozen large size notes reported and is therefore scarce. PCGS graded Very Fine 20.
