1923-S Buffalo Nickel. MS-64. The obverse strike is fairly decent but the reverse, as often seen with this date, is not completely struck up and exhibits some interesting die bulging toward the rims from overuse of the dies. The color is quite nice and the luster is vibrant overlayed in pale sunny gold. All in all, a very attractive specimen (PCGS # 3950) .
