1924-D $20 St. Gaudens. PCGS graded MS-63 P.Q. Here is a very choice example that easily qualifies as Premium Quality for the assigned numerical grade. A well struck specimen with excellent frosty surfaces exhibiting mint bloom colors of greenish gold and light rose. The 1924-D is considered one of the medium rarities of the series with most uncirculated specimens having heavy nicks and cuts. This lovely example has a minimum of disturbances thus worthy of a premium bid. PCGS reports 119 at this level with 125 in MS-64, 4 in MS-65 and 1 in MS-66 (PCGS # 9178) .
Estimated Value $6,000 - 6,500.
