Lot 1135

1909-D $20 St. Gaudens. PCGS graded MS-64 PQ. A splendid and very choice example of this very scarce date. Well struck with an obverse that is remarkably clean. The lustrous surfaces are quite pleasing with a slight satiny appearance and the light golden-orange color adds to this coin's eye appeal thus our Premium Quality designation. This delightful example is certainly worthy of a premium bid. PCGS reports 120 at this level, 8 in MS-65, 2 in MS-66 and 1 in MS-67 (PCGS # 9152) .
Estimated Value $10,000 - 12,500.

Realized $13,800
