1914 Buffalo Nickel. 4 over 3. NGC graded MS-65. It is the defining status of an important Buffalo Nickel collection when it includes this important coin. This is a lovely example, lustrous with a blending of steel blue and shades of light golden toning. Well struck with the clearly defined telltale diagnostics that confirm its overdate status, traces of the 3 to the top right of the 4 and a series of faint die scratches (as made) above the digit 4 in the date. In fact, this Guide Book listed overdate was unknown until 1996 and is fast earning a reputation as one of the major rareties in the series. NGC reports 3 at this level with none higher. An important offering for the Buffalo Nickel specialist (PCGS # 93924) .
Estimated Value $30,000 - 33,000.
