Fischer, Robert James "Bobby" (1943 -) World champion chessmaster; the only American to win the FIDE world chess championship (1972). Book Signed, "Robert Fischer Dec. '64," from Fischer's private library. A softcover book in German, Sonderdruck der Õsterreichischen Schachzeitun, by Dr. Fritz Gragger. Subtitled "45 Years of Marshall's Attack / An Analytic Jubilee Report," 31pp, illustrated with many games, and printed by the Vienna Chess Club. Signed as a young man of 21. In the 1963-64 U.S. Championships, Fischer won with an 11-0 record, the only perfect score in the history of the Championship.
