Madonna - Collection of Personal Jewelry. Collection of jewelry owned and worn by Madonna. The collection includes costume earrings, necklace and handkerchief from the "Material Girl" video. There are 21 sets of earrings (among these are 3 sets of "Maripol for Madonna" earrings on their original cards); 15 necklaces (including 4 "Maripol for Madonna" bracelet and necklace sets on their original cards and 2 other necklace and earring sets); 3 additional bracelets; a ring; a pendant brooch; and a "boytoy" belt. The jewelry is Madonn's early style, with lots of crosses, peace signs, etc. Accompanied by letters of authenticity. Maripol was the Material Girl's friend and jewelry designer who was responsible for Madonna's early, much-copied grunge look. Should be seen in person.
