(MAD Magazine Cartoonists). Three letters from MAD cartoonists Don Martin ("MAD's Maddist Artist"), Al Jaffee (creator of the fold-in feature), and Mort Drucker (known for his brilliant parodies of movies and television), to Frank Jacobs, who contributed some 400 articles to MAD. All three are on personal letterhead; only Drucker's has a year ('99). Martin types, "…I'm still working on the comic strip….the charactors are Fester and Karbunkle (mostly Fester since he is the one with some personality)…We have been trying to gather scenes…and squeeze every gag out of it…" More content. Jaffee and Drucker handwrite notes regarding a book Jacobs sent them. The letters are signed with first names. All fine.
Estimated Value $300 - 500.
