Windsor, Duke and Duchess of. Photograph Signed ("Edward" and "Wallis Windsor") as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor and while Edward was the governor of the Bahamas (1940-45), 9½ x 7½ inches. An excellent full-length photograph, taking outside of their official residence in the Bahamas. Signed by both on the lower edge. As the oldest son of George V, Edward became Edward VIII, King of Great Britain and Ireland, in 1936; he abdicated to marry American divorcée Wallis Simpson.
