(Guevara, Ernesto "Che") Photograph Album (1928-1967) A notebook of 38 photographs, each in an individual sleeve, of Che Guevara, taken c. 1959-early 1960s. Many are marked on the back for use in Cuban newspapers. There are several shots of Che in his famous beret; he is also shown involved in various activities, such as speaking to foreign leaders and groups of people, in the jungle, playing baseball, golf and chess, etc. There is also a photo of Che after he was shot in Bolivia in 1967. A recent movie, The Motorcycle Diaries, is based on a trip Che took through South America as a young man in 1951 with his friend Alberto Granado. There are an additional 15 photos of incidental people and places in Havana in the album. The photos vary in size and range from good to fine.
