Barbie Doll - 50th "Golden Anniversary". New in the original box, with a Certificate of Authenticity, and a booklet celebrating the history of Mattel and the Barbie doll. Limited Edition, Numbered. "Closed Edition." Porcelain, 1995, Mattel. Delicately hand-painted, hand-crafted of fine porcelain bisque to commemorate Mattel's 50th anniversary. The doll is lavishly costumed in a rich, red velvet gown adorned with fifty red roses, which tapers to a row of glittering crimson beads, then flares dramatically at the bottom into dozens of resplendent gold tone metallic pleats. Accessoried with a matching rose stole and headpiece, fingerless evening gloves, red and gold bead earrings, and a 23 karat gold electroplated bracelet. Highly collectible. Superb.
