1864 Two Cents. Small motto. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. Red brown surfaces with specks of green iridescence. The horizontal bars of the shield are free from any marks. The Small Motto variety of this issue is substantially scarcer than the Large Motto, both of which came from an original mintage figure of 19,847,500. PCGS population of 60 in MS-64RB, 23 in MS-65RB and 4 in MS-66RB as the finest (PCGS # 3580) .
