1874 Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded Proof 66 Red & Brown. Appealing red brown obverse surfaces with the reverse shifting to a display of vivid violet and iridescent tones. Proof dies described by Snow as 1874/4, with the repunching visible below the horizontal bar of the 4 near the tip. Pleasing metal flow lines near the periphery and into the central portion of the fields. A small scratch down from the rim to the 2nd and 3rd feather tips. PCGS population of 5 in PR-66RB and a single PR-67RB finer (PCGS # 2310) .
