1860 Indian Head Cent. Rounded bust. NGC graded Proof 65. A rare gem with fully mirrored fields! Satiny luster rolls across pristine fields and spotless, frosty devices. Golden and olive hues accent the reflectivity and surfaces. Only 250 proofs were struck in 1860 from this hub style (Hub of 1860-1864) and Snow estimated that perhaps only 50 exist in all grades. Housed in an older NGC holder and very appealing. NGC population of 12 in PF-65, 7 in PF-66, 1 in PF-67 and a single PF-68 as finest.
