1795 Liberty Cap Cent. Plain edge. . Sheldon-78, Rarity-1. NGC graded EF-40 Brown. Dark chocolate brown surfaces with scattered patches of lighter reddish brown coloration. Hair detail above the ear is a little soft but curl definition is sharp. Struck a little off center with the right border weak. An old, faint scratch across the top of Liberty's cheek. Reverse detail is bold and only a dull scuff above the N of ONE is mentionable. A decent quality planchet and a pleasing early cent.
