1856 Coronet Head Half Cent. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. The surfaces of this near-gem half cent have brick red coloration and soothing luster. Light spotting is scattered over both obverse and reverse. While this piece is predominantly well struck, stars 4 through 7 display weakness. An appealing example and perfect for the quality conscious type enthusiast. PCGS population of 24 with none finer in the Red Brown condition (PCGS # 1237) .
