Roman Empire. Augustus, 27 BC-14 AD. AR Tetradrachm of Syria: Seleucis & Pieria, Antioch ad Orontem. Struck 4/3 BC. Laureate head right. Reverse: Tyche right, seated on rock and holding palm, river-god Orontes swimming below; Year 28 in upper field. RPC 4153; Wruck 4. Finely centered and boldly struck. Typical light porosity to metal, nevertheless a choice example, with handsome portrait. Lightly toned. Extremely Fine.
