Ionia. Phokaia. 5th-4th century BC. Lot of Six Electrum Hektes. All with obverse device left, and incuse reverse. Included are: Helmeted Athena head (Bod. 111); Female head, hair in scarf (Bod. 98); Io head (Bod 96); Head of nymph (Bod. 94); Helmeted Athena head (Bod. 91); and, Head of bull (Bod. 48). Also, one of Lesbos, Mytilene, c. 412-378 BC.: Apollo head right / Female head right; Bod. 70. All well struck, but on usual tight flans -- some a bit off center. Nice material overall. Some rare. Lot of 7 coins. Coins average Very Fine or better.
