Thracian Kingdom. Koson, c. mid-1st century BC. Gold Stater (8.60 g). Roman consul left, accompanied by two lictors; BR monogram at left. Reverse: Eagle holding wreath left. RPC I 1701; BMC p. 208, 2; BMCRR II p. 474, 48. A few very light scratches on reverse. Strike a bit soft, but coin essentially as struck. Lustrous. Extremely Fine.
