Paeonian Kingdom. Patraos, 335-315 BC. Lot of Three Tetradrachms. Laureate head of Apollo right. Reverse: Horseman riding down Macedonian warrior. Cf. Sotheby's "Paeonian Hoard." This group displays the three primary portrait types for the Apollos of Patraos. One coin with fine style reverse. All better than average examples -- the best perfectly centered on ample flan. Lot of 3 coins. One a lustrous Extremely Fine; rest Very Fine.
