Eastern Celts. Boii. c. 2nd-1st century BC. Lot of Eight 1/24th Staters. Athena Alkidemos Type. Obverse: frontal buckler with raised rims and depressed center (some showing decorative knobs at rims and centers). Reverse: Athena Alkidemos(?), a striding figure brandishing spear and buckler, X at lower right. Paulsen pl. 7, 146; Dembski 503. Some weakly struck or dies worn. Rare. Lot of 8 coins. Coins range from Very Fine to Extremely Fine.
